Your search for information, patient education and/or resources on a chronic invisible illness/disability called Fibromyalgia [FM] has brought you to this website. Congratulations on taking steps to better understand, become more informed, and to seek resources to help you or your loved one on their journey with Fibromyalgia. If you have just been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, please know you are not alone. If you have lived with Fibromyalgia for some time, but are looking for ways to connect with your “tribe” – your community – look no further! You have found us!
Fibromyalgia Support Network [FSN] is proud to be a unique, volunteer-driven, progressive peer-support organization, with a national and international outreach. We have a growing membership of individuals with Fibromyalgia who live in Canada, USA, and the United Kingdom. No matter how long one has been diagnosed with FM, every FSN member experiences daily challenges with chronic pain levels and muscle stiffness, symptom flare-ups, and life struggles. We have all experienced the same frustrations, emotional turmoil and grief process from diagnosis to acceptance. At FSN, however, we try to maintain a positive attitude and compassionate, caring environment. We provide learning opportunities to fill your FM Toolbox with “tools”, coping strategies and tips on managing your symptoms. Through our special events and health talks, we provide important patient education and access to medical/healthcare professionals or service agency providers. We hope you will take the time to explore our web pages on what we offer, resources and even check out our newest addition, our blog, The Fibromates Journal.
